About Willow Creek Farm
Formerly known as the famous “Westenhook Farm” and listed by the American Quarter Horse Association as the leading breeder in all four categories of performance
quarter horses, we are proud to continue the tradition of Equestrian excellence!
with the opening of Willow Creek Farm in 2003.
In July 2000, we purchased the property with the goal of creating a premier equestrian facility surrounded by a premier community of horse-lovers. This dream has started becoming reality with the re-opening of the boarding facility after years of painstaking restoration and renovation. As of January 2004, Willow Creek was ready to accommodate both boarders and trainers and almost since the beginning, we have been full. The old magic of the Riker’s Farm came back to life with new energy and enthusiasm. Every barn, tack room, and matted stall has been restored with the addition of two new large outdoor riding rings, and miles of turnout, pastures and on-premises trails. The first phase of the rebirth was complete.
Now, with the completion of a new state-of-the art indoor and new 28
stall luxury barn, we are ready for the next level of equestrian excellence. As we complete the development of a private housing community overlooking the picturesque facility, our dream and phase III will be complete. Willow Creek Estates will be a community and development second to none. Imagine owning a house overlooking Willow Creek, with 103 acres of private fields, picnic areas, trails, and pastures, and CT's finest horse boarding stables...literally at your doorstep!
We invite you to stop by to see the facility and most importantly, to
meet the staff. As horse owners and lovers ourselves, you will not
finding a more caring and attentive group of people!
Please call Amie at 203-405-2727 x 108 to make an appointment to see
